The Steak Sandwich at Barnard Griffin was absolutely delicious. The flavor of the beef, the toppings, and even the fries all worked together which made it all work. If you’re in a rut for lunch and haven’t been to the Kitchen at Barnard Griffin, you really need to check it out. I think it’s one […]
Best of the Best
Ron over at Swampy’s BBQ and Catering is really killing it. I grabbed one of this Tri Tip Hoagies and it did not disappoint in the slightest. The flavor was on point. The value was there. The sides of bacon mac and cheese and coleslaw were outstanding. If you’re in East Kennewick and needing some […]
I’ll have to go back and check, but this might be the first salad that I’ve slapped the label of “Best of the Best” on. And it is an absolutely deserving label. I really think Twigs Bistro in Kennewick does some of the best tasting salads in the Tri-Cities. If you’re looking for a steak, […]
The Gary Z is my “go to” omelette at Just Joel’s. It’s full of meat. It’s full of flavor. It’s just full of goodness. It’s great for those who are looking to cut out carbs. It’ll definitely hit the spot. If you’re looking for breakfast in the Tri-Cities and specifically in Kennewick, Just Joel’s is […]
This was my first time getting the Bento Box at Sushi Ya. It didn’t disappoint. It was a great way to satisfy all the cravings. The chicken was full of flavor, the sushi was perfect. Everything about this lunch was on point. If you’re looking for great Asian food in the Tri-Cities, Sushi Ya in […]
I love Zips. Always have. Always will. I’m willing to pay their prices (I do think their prices are a touch out of whack) because Zips represents a large piece of my childhood. I always preferred their burgers to McDonalds and Burger King. I think their fish n chips are really good (but not at […]
April 12th, 2019 was a hallmark event for me personally. I had been invited by Tom over at Barley’s Brewhub in Kennewick to be part of the shooting for their Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives episode. While I didn’t get to meet Guy, I still got to fulfill a major checkbox that had been part of […]
I believe there are two kinds of burgers in the world. There are the “diner” style burgers and there are the “bistro” style burgers. The burgers at Foodies Brick and Mortar and Foodies Too are of the latter variety. They are huge. They are delicious. And they can be messy if you let them be. […]
This was the last soup of the season at Island View. Honestly, I wish they’d make soup all year round but they don’t. This chicken dumpling soup absolutely hit the spot. I can’t wait until the soup starts flowing again in the fall.
Believe it or not, this was my first time hitting up the Folded Pie in Richland. This is a darn good calzone. It’s light, flakey, and not overly dense leaving you feeling like a tub afterward. If you’re looking for a great calzone in the Tri-Cities, definitely hit the Folded Pie.
