We had an impromptu date night and decided to go to Cedars on Clover Island in Kennewick. I know this place gets flamed by other people for a wide range of reasons, but Cedars will always be one of my personal favorites. This is where my parents always wanted to go for family occasions like […]

I was invited to a going away party who had brought in Swampy’s BBQ for the catering. It had been a little bit since I’ve had Swampy’s BBQ. There was an assortment of Tri-Tip, pulled pork, coleslaw and some of the best bacon mac n cheese I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for some of […]
This is the second time I’ve had the blackened chicken breast with the avocado cream sauce from What’s For Dinner Tri-Cities and it’s just as good as the first time. The chicken is spiced up pretty well which will make you grab for your favorite drink. This meal is paired with some zucchini and sweet […]
One of the things I hate, makes me feel a little bad, but then, on the other hand, I won’t spend too much time worrying about is when I tell someone where to go for a certain dish because I think it’s outstandingly good and they have a bad experience. The pho at the Edge […]
The Edge Steakhouse and Lounge in Kennewick does an outstanding Bloody Mary. Their mix is obviously made in-house and the flavor shows. They offer their Bloody’s a couple of different ways. There’s the regular way as well as the “loaded” version. This one was the “regular” but I’ve had the “loaded” version too. You won’t […]
MacGregors in Manzanita is a really cool place. The atmosphere is totally what you’d expect. The service was beyond top-notch… And to top it off, the drinks were superb. This is a place I’m telling everyone about and if you’re anywhere near here or Canon Beach in Oregon, you should also visit.
I hadn’t been into Fresh Out of the Box in a little too long. I think FOTB does the best Philly in the Tri-Cities. It’s that good. The flavors work so well together. If you’re looking for one of the best sandwiches in the Tri-Cities, you definitely want to check this one out.
You’ve probably noticed by now, I love pho. When I moved home from Seattle, the TC was in pretty poor shape on the pho front. There was maybe one place that was remotely good. Now we have a small handful of options. Thai Elephant is definitely one of those options. When you’re looking for a […]
We went for appetizers after the symphony at the Gesa Powerhouse Theater in Walla Walla. Kim hadn’t been to Brasserie Four yet. It’s a great restaurant in Walla Walla that serves outstanding French-inspired food. We had a couple of appetizers with the standout being the calamari. If you haven’t been to Brassier Four yet, you […]
Kim and I did an overnight road trip to Walla Walla where we did some wine drinking, amazing dinner at TMAC’s, and a great show at the Gesa Powerhouse Theater. So let me tell you about dinner because it was amazing. Baked Cauliflower I love simple dishes that are packed with flavor. This had to […]
