This was the last soup of the season at Island View. Honestly, I wish they’d make soup all year round but they don’t. This chicken dumpling soup absolutely hit the spot. I can’t wait until the soup starts flowing again in the fall.
Soups in Tri-Cities
I love a good sandwich from Island View Market and Deli. I just do. On top of that, today is Friday which means Lonnie is doing up the clam chowder. Island View is one of only a very few places in the Tri-Cities that does a damn good clam chowder. If you haven’t had it, […]
The French Onion soup at Casa Mia is pretty good. It’s a touch light in flavor for my tastes but that’s probably because the soups I’ve been trying lately might have been heavier on the salt. With that being said, the French Onion soup at Casa Mia is still worth getting and very delicious.
There are only a handful of places in the Tri-Cities that does a good bowl of pho. There are even fewer places that do a good bowl of chicken pho in the Tri-Cities. Bangkok Thai in Kennewick is probably the only place I’ll go to for chicken pho.
This is the season of soup. It’s getting colder outside and there’s something about a good soup that just makes things all better. The chicken noodle soup at Island View Market and Deli in Richland does just that. It is packed full of chicken, noodles, and an amazing and flavorful broth. If you’re looking for an […]
Every now and then, you come across a dish that is life-changing. The Street Taco Soup that was created in partnership between El Fatcat Grill and Just Joel’s is just that…. Life changing. It has a ton of flavor and is hands down one of the very best soups you’ll hope to find in the […]
This was my second stop on the same day for clam chowder. This was my first time getting the chowder from Island View Market and Deli in Richland and it won’t be my last time. This was delicious and full of flavor. If you’re looking for some great clam chowder in the Tri-Cities, you’ll want […]
I made two stops for clam chowder today. My first stop was at El Fatcat in Kennewick. It had been a while since I’ve had their clam chowder but it definitely wasn’t my first time. However, Felix asked me if I’d like to have it the way he eats it and it was a total […]
Ok. The Bacon Butternut Squash soup and the deep fried carne asada burrito that Joel did up this week were beyond legit. Let’s talk about the soup first. The soup was packed so full of flavor that it was ridiculous. It was literally the definition of “Fall in a Cup”. This soup hit on all […]
Today was my second day in a row for lunch at Island View Deli and Market in Richland. Today’s soup was Loaded Baked Potato Soup and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect consistency of not too thick and not too runny. The flavor was perfect. When you’re looking for damn good soup s […]
