Let’s get my opinion as to why they failed out of the way first: Too many chiefs and not enough indians. It’s that simple. Veritas had five owners. How could anything possible get decided on quickly with five people needing to voice an equal opinion? The odds of that being a successful arrangement is slim to none.
I’ve been sitting here trying to figure out what else to write about this. I could go with how delicious the food was. But that doesn’t matter now. I could say how it was a nice place to pop in for a snack since it was right up the road. That doesn’t matter now either. Now I have to go find who now has the best fries in the Tri-Cities again. Gotta love first world problems.
At any rate, here’s my final thought. When given the chance to give a locally owned restaurant a shot, do it. A visit or two more a month to a non-chain restaurant can be the difference between them making it and not.
