Beef Pho For Lunch in Kennewick – March 4, 2026
I needed a quick, warm lunch during my break from work, so I swung by Yummie Pho in Kennewick. It was one of those cool, grey afternoons where a big bowl of soup felt like the right call. I wasn’t after anything fancy—just something fast, comforting, and flavorful to get me back to the office feeling ready to finish the day.
What I Ordered
- Main Entrée: Beef Pho with extra beef
- Side Entrée: none
The Experience
The service was very fast and very friendly. The place drew a good lunch crowd despite the weather, which is usually a reliable sign they know what they’re doing. Seating is straightforward and casual, with a practical setup that gets you in and out without fuss. The vibe felt relaxed and focused on the food, which I appreciated on a short break.
What Stood Out
The broth. Yummie Pho’s beef broth is always on point—deep, savory, and balanced in a way that makes the whole bowl come together. It’s rich without being heavy, with a clean meatiness and subtle aromatics that lift every spoonful. The extra beef was a good move; they slice it thin and tender, so each bite combined well with the noodles and herbs.
Textures were solid: the rice noodles held up without getting mushy, and the fresh herbs and lime added bright contrast. I liked that the scallions and bean sprouts arrived fresh, and the heat level was easy to control with the chiles and sriracha available on the table. It’s the kind of pho that warms you from the inside out and keeps you satisfied for the rest of the afternoon.
Notes and Tips
- If you’re short on time, tell them you’re on a quick lunch; they move fast.
- Ask for extra beef if you want a heartier bowl without adding complexity.
- Bring a light jacket on grey days; the dining area can feel a touch cool.
Would I Get It Again
I’d get this again and again. It definitely hit the spot and kept me fueled for the rest of my shift. If you’re in Kennewick and need a solid, no-nonsense lunch that’s warm and flavorful, Yummie Pho is a dependable option.
