Country Fried Steak at Andy’s North in Pasco – October 19 2025

Sunday mornings tend to look the same for my friends and me: find a local spot, grab breakfast, catch up about the week, and talk a little football. This week landed us at Andy’s North on Court Street in Pasco. I’ve always heard how busy things get here, especially during football season, and today was no exception. We arrived to a packed dining room and a line out the door, but it set the stage for a classic Tri-Cities breakfast experience.

What I Ordered

  • Main Entrée: Country fried steak with gravy
  • Sides: Eggs (over medium), hash browns, and sourdough toast

The Experience

Even with the full house, the service was great. Andy’s North has a real old-school diner vibe, the kind of place where regulars settle in for hours over coffee refills, and newcomers feel welcomed right away. The clatter of busy breakfast service and the background hum of sports talk made it feel lively, but still relaxed enough to actually enjoy a conversation.

What Stood Out

  • The Gravy: The flavor of the gravy was outstanding—rich, a little peppery, and just thick enough to cling to each crispy bite of the country fried steak. You know a breakfast gravy is legit when it holds up on both steak and hash browns, and this totally did.
  • The Steak: The country fried steak was classic diner comfort food—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and served under a generous blanket of that gravy.
  • The Sides: The eggs were cooked just right and the hash browns were golden brown and crispy. The sourdough toast was a nice touch, slightly tangy and perfect for sopping up extra gravy.

Pro Tips

  • If there’s a big game on, be prepared to wait. The line moves quickly, but this spot is a favorite for local sports fans.
  • The portions are generous, so if you’re hungry, you’ll leave happy. If not, sharing isn’t a bad idea.
  • Ask for the gravy on the side if you like to control how much goes on each bite.

Would I Get It Again?

Absolutely. Andy’s North was on point for our Sunday breakfast, and that gravy is something I’ll think about next time I want classic diner comfort food. It definitely hit the spot. Good food, a great place to catch up, and the kind of energy that makes breakfast out feel more like an event. If you’re local or just passing through, this is a spot worth trying for your next breakfast run.
