Dinner at Cedars at Pier One in Kennewick – September 6 2020
Kim and I did dinner to celebrate my late Mom’s birthday. Cedars in Kennewick is where my family always celebrated birthdays and anniversaries so being able to celebrate here during the age of covid was a little extra special.
If you’ve been following Shot and a Beer dot com for a while now, you can pretty much guess what I ordered. If you’re new, there’s only one entree I order when at Cedars in Kennewick. I always go with their Peppercorn Ribeye steak. It’s all I’ve ever ordered for at least 20 years. Probably closer to 25 years. This ribeye really hit the spot. It was exactly as it has been. Even with all the change in the world. Even with the recent change of ownership of the restaurant. It was spot on.
Kim had their Biergarten Filet. She let me have a bite and I’m not going to lie, I would say this is one of the top filets in the Tri-Cities right now. With that being said, I think it was the only bite of filet I’ve had all year, but still. It was amazingly delicious and flavorful.
Coupled with dinner, we had a couple of rounds of Rum Barrels. These hadn’t changed at all either. Still delicious. Still strong.
If you’re looking for a bit of normalcy in this time of crap, head over to Cedars at Pier One in Kennewick. The food was delicious. The service was on point. The views are still the best when the sun is setting.
