Philly Sandwich (Rizzo Style) at Jackalope Bar and Grill – July 29, 2025
I was looking for something a little different for lunch and ended up heading over to Jackalope Bar and Grill on Kennewick Ave. Sometimes, you just need a switch-up from your usual spots, and Jackalope always manages to deliver. They had a good crowd in for lunch, which told me I wasn’t the only one craving something solid midday.

- Side Entrée: Super seasoned fries
The Experience
The service at the Jackalope is always spot on, which is a big reason it’s an easy choice for lunch. I didn’t have to wait long, and the crowd was humming without getting too loud. It’s the kind of spot that feels energetic without being over the top.
What Stood Out
- Philly Sandwich (Rizzo style):
There are all kinds of ways to make a Philly, but the Rizzo style here just works. The sandwich packs a ton of flavor, and it really stood out from what you get at a lot of places. It’s how I’ll be ordering it from now on. - Super Seasoned Fries:
These fries go well with almost anything, but they were especially good today. The seasoning hits just right, making them more addictive than your standard side of fries.
Would I Get It Again?
No question, I’ll be getting the Philly (Rizzo style) again next time. Jackalope Bar and Grill on Kennewick Ave nailed the flavor combo, and the whole lunch was on point. If you’re looking for a little something different for lunch and want to try a spot that consistently delivers, Jackalope is a good call.
